Okayyyy--Time for a real update.
It's been about two & a half months since my last big update on life... So bare with me!
November was for the most part, pretty eventful and fun. It consisted of a lot of hanging out with my close friends and doing random fun things. For example: Melissa (who is my best friend for those who don't know) and I took a random road trip to Stevens Point to visit our friend Samantha. It went well--but most importantly--it went exactly how we expected it to go. Melissa & I very keen on how are friends will treat certain situations...lol
The week after that was busy busy busy... Bobbi & I went to UW-Oshkosh so she could have a meeting with her advisor. (this was the first time I visited the campus and fell in love--more about this later...) We also hung out with Abi & Steph for bit :]
The rest of November consisted of dinners (and game nights) at Melissa's house, some early Christmas shopping, and Door County nights with Bobbi & Natalie. Overall -- A good month.
Melissa & I kicked off December with an interesting & dynamic trip to Melissa's family xmas in Minnesota! haha (yes... we're so close that I joined her on her family christmas trip!) This was the first time I met most of Melissa's family.. and I thought they were really nice & welcoming--which was really nice to be apart of.
The rest of December was mostly full of final exams & a lot of homework. Also, it was the time of year when I get hit reallyyy hard with S.A.D (season affective disorder) I think I had it the worst this year. I spent a whole week without leaving my apartment once. It was so bad!! :S
Don't worry though, things really turned around after Christmas. New Years Eve was amazing this year. I managed to see almost everyone important to me in one night! The night started off with hanging out at Ashley's house & getting ready (as usual..lol) Then me, samantha & ashley headed to Dusty & Shane's apartment for a party. I mingled with some high school friends and just kind of chilled. Around 11pm it was time to leave. So then i went to Wave Pointe Resort for another party. This was probably the best part of the night and we all had a ton of fun! If you're friends with me on facebook or myspace you've probably seen the pictures..lol :]
We started New Years Day off the right way with a trip to Pudgy Seaguls for breakfast-- the most classic thing you can do after a night of partying in Door County! haha
So.. the rest of January was pretty simple--Until January 18th. Since then, my life has changed a lot. A lot a lot.
It's really hard to explain... and I'm still not ready to go into detail about it. But the point is--I've never been happier with my life than right now. Yes, there are some major issues that i'm dealing with, but I'm not letting them affect (or is it effect? lol) my life like they would have a month ago. There are too many things in life to be happy about to walk around being sad and bringing everyone down with you, right?? I guess I'll say that I did the HARDEST thing i've ever done before..and it was one of the BEST decisions of my life. :D To make this even more confusing for you-- none of this would have happened if it weren't for someone I've never met before. I also owe a lot to my closest friends for being there for me and helping me out. However, none of them are going through or have gone through what I am.. so having someone to talk to that DID go through what I am, made it soo much easier and I'm very grateful for that. I just decided i'm a horrible writer. actually, i can write pretty well if i try. Let's just say that i'm saving all my creative energy for my papers for school.... haha
Anyways.. It's February now and things are GREAT! Last weekend was amazing!! I went to UW-Oshkosh to visit Bobbi. It was a blast.
Okay.. I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow and i can barely keep my eyes open...so i'm going to have to cut this short! i'm sorry!
Moral of the story is -- I'm happy. I'm grateful for everyone in my life right now. Life's good. I want it to be spring...But LIFE IS SO GOOD!
